La natura generale della conservazione dei paesaggi è connotata dall’intrinseca esigenza di specifiche trasformazioni. L’'accessibilità al centro storico è una componente notevole dell'obiettivo della sostenibilità, che richiede interpretazioni progettuali delle trasformazioni dei paesaggi urbani, che ne conservino le strutture profonde e rispondano alle esigenze di vita contemporanee. Non si tratta affatto di due direzioni contrarie

 

The general nature of the landscapes conservation is characterized by the intrinsic need for specific changes. Accessibility to historic center is, in short, a major component of the objective of sustainability, which requires design interpretations of the urban landscapes transformations, which retain the deep structures and meet the contemporary life needs. And these are not two opposite directions.

La mostra illustra la vita e le opere del paesaggista Lawrence Halprin e di sua moglie Anne famosa coreografa. Il connubio di due artisti che pur se in campi diversi hanno condotto la loro esperienza di vita e di lavoro sempre animati dallo stesso entusiasmo verso forme espressive diverse e tuttavia rivolte ad una costante attenzione alla gente e a quanto il loro lavoro potesse stimolare nel l’immaginario collettivo.<la mostra è stata curata da Annalisa Metta, ricercatrice presso l’Università di Roma Tre e da Benedetta di Donato assegnista di ricerca presso l’Università dell’Aquila.

 

 

The exhibition illustrates the life and work of the landscape architect Lawrence Halprin and his wife Anne famous choreographer. The combination of two artists who although in different fields have conducted their experience of living and working always animated by the same enthusiasm towards different forms of expression and yet catering to a constant attention to people and how their work could stimulate the imagination collective. The exhibition was curated by Annalisa Metta, a researcher at the University of Rome and by Benedetta Donato research fellow at the University of L'Aquila.
